Right you are. I didn't remember the Mathabane run, but should have remembered Lizier-Zmudzinski was a sophomore last year. That's what I get for quickly scanning the Summit records list without using my brain a little too.
Based on the Summit track website that was an Oregon sophomore class record for Matthew Maton in the 1500m. I didn't think he had that kind of turnover, but he looked very strong battling Gardner over the last 400m.
It was the #3 Sophomore time for an Oregon athlete, as far as I know - Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski ran 3:53.75 last year as a sophomore, and Nathan Mathabane ran 3:54.07 as a soph in 2007. He did look very strong over the last 400m though, and is a tremendous talent.

Nice race in the boys 1500m... and I just now realized that Travis Neuman hasn't run any races with Summit this spring (but ran unattached at least once, at the Oregon Relays) - anyone know the story?
Also, that Jesuit kid (Sealand) looked like a giant in that field...
