Lincoln OR cross country coach Eric Dettman joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to dicuss taking his team back to his roots in Illinois and competing at this weekend's Richard Spring Invitational at Detweiller Park. Dettman ran at York High (Elmhurst) along with his twin brother Matt and together they were part of four consecutive Illinois state championship teams as well as the first Nike Team Nationals championship in 2004 in Portland, Ore. Dettman traces his history in running and the influence coaching legend Joe Newton had on his career.
